REGIONAL SOCIAL CARE MANAGER – MUNSTER

We are currently expanding their senior management team and recruiting
A REGIONAL MANAGER FOR OUR MUNSTER RESIDENTIAL CARE SERVICES IN NORTH
CORK AND TIPPERARY. We welcome applications from experience managers
with a proven track record in the delivery of care services to the
highest standard.

In conjunction with the Director of Services and in collaboration with
the Centre Managers and Social Care Leaders, you will be responsible
for providing high quality social care and a safe, caring, and
stabilising environment to vulnerable young people aged between
* years. You will play a key role in modelling
and leading the development and promotion of professional social care
and safety practice within the Service that delivers positive outcomes
for young people as well as ensuring professional development of your
team, budget management and development of services in line with
Daffodil Care’s model of care and company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 5 years’ social care management experience in
children’s residential services
* Minimum level 8 degree in Social Care OR level 7 in social care
and a relevant management qualification
* A current full driver’s licence
* Experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to
achieve.
* A successful record in the delivery of care services to a high
standard.
* Demonstrate budgeting and resource management skills.
* Strong administrative and technology skills.
* A sound knowledge and proven ability to interpret and apply
legislation; e.g The National Standards for Children’s Residential
Services.

SOCIAL CARE MANAGER – MITCHELSTOWN, CO. CORK

As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for the management
of the mainstream residential centre and for leading a team of Social
Care Workers and Social Care Leaders. Working closely with the
Director of Services you will also be responsible for the modelling,
leading, development and promotion of professional social care that
delivers positive outcomes for young people and their families.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

* A minimum level 8 degree in Social Care and 4 years’ experience
of working in a social care grade with young people
OR
* Level 7 in Social Care and a relevant management qualification and
4 years’ experience of working at a social care grade with young
people.
* Strong experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to
achieve.
* Personal attributes of positivity, flexibility and problem-solving
attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
* A current full clean Driving License prior to commencement of
employment.
